Improving Animaxxing
Originally published on Oct 3, 2026

I've been working on improving Animaxxing, my GSAP motion skills for AI coding agents. I created four different demo sites to try out different animation techniques and built in improvements to the skills as I went. Version 0.11.0 is out now.
Here's what changed:
- Flip transitions. Layouts rearrange instead of jumping, and an element can carry across to the next page.
- Text reveals restore cleanly when interrupted, and a new reveal stops the old one first.
- Proximity effects. Items lift and scale as the pointer gets close, while their clickable areas stay put.
- Pinned scroll scenes reset only what they animated when cleaned up.
- Say "we're animaxxing" and every element gets an entrance, a settled state, and an exit. The agent keeps your design and respects reduced motion.
Try them in Collector's Atlas, Handmade Printmaking, Living Poster and Cultural Posters.
The skills are open source on Github, with the full list of changes in the changelog. Install them with the official GSAP skills:

Then ask your agent to animate your project. I'd love to see what you make!
